Meet the Authors
- Addhirus Foss – Zoologist and owner of the largest companion shop: Older brother to the renowned Lahrian Foss, the pair are a force to be reckoned with. While Addhirus Foss does not usually publish his research in companions and wildlife, his research is often applied in dealings with the sale and husbandry of these animals. Lahrian has been collaborating with him for many years, and often he benefits off her studious and roaming nature.
- Lahrian Foss – Ecologist: Younger sister to the renowned Addhirus Foss, the siblings are a force to be reckoned with. While Lahrian has written ‘The Official Caeli Companion Handbook of Visla, An Abridged Version’ this was in fact only a small part of her written work. Her true interest lies in ecosystems across Visla, from the Marshes of the East to the Glaciers of the North, as described in ‘Natural Habitats: The Four Nest System of Classification’. Her travels to these remote areas put her in contact with various creatures, where she collaborates with her brother for their shared interest in animals.
- Porphyri Autumn – Historian: Author of the well-known ‘A history of Vislan Nests’ and ‘Introduction to the Four Great Nests’, Porphyri now spends most of her time educating Caeli on modern Vislan history within the upper levels of education in the Star nest. Teaching is her greatest passion, alongside fondness for opera.
- lobar Malinowski – Caeologist: Born in the heart of the Star nest, he is known as the father of social caeology and was responsible for establishing the concept of cultural conservation. He has been the sole author of best-selling ‘Cross-Cultural Explorations - A Caeological Encyclopedia’ and ‘Across Caeli Civilization and Language’ which are considered gold standards in understanding cultures across the nests. Iobar is often found amongst the cultures he writes about, where he often lives for several months or years before moving on.
- Atlas Finch – Cartographer: The original creator and artist for ‘The Official Visla Map’ and maintaining force behind continual updates to its shoreline and islands, Atlas is best known for their solitary patrol of the coastlines across Visla. Their exceptionally precise maps require years of calibration and exploration to discover any lost locations across the continent. In recent years, Atlas has expanded to intercontinental travel for a world map of Dravisdor, which may become his crowning piece. The publisher notes that Atlas is incredibly difficult to locate or contact, please direct all enquiries via mail directly to the publisher address.
