BREEDS OF CAELI
Common
The more recent Standard caeli evolved to be better suited above ground, past the safety of the nests when hunting. Their robust bodies and anatomical differences are a product of increased meat in their diet compared to Royals. Within nests, they fill the much needed workforce and use their strength in industrial jobs. Individuals vary immensely and often look wildly different from one another. They are workers, manual laborers and create crafts. They are the majority of the Caeli Community.

Uncommon
Royal caeli are older genetically, coming from ancient lines within pockets of society. Royal caeli are most bountiful within the established ranks of old nests, and have the advantage of more craftful hands and increased intelligence. They mostly survived through their advanced intellect and strong societal structure. Highly respected and usually of royal bloodline (Related by blood to a Queen). Not all Queens are of the Royal breed.

The most common and representative breed of the species is the Standard breed.
The Royal breed is an uncommon body type, and has distinct differences from the Standard.
There are several rules to the Royal and Standard breeds that must be followed:
While these examples demonstrate the average of the different breeds, they are not incredibly strict (aside from the above rules). There is a variety in body types and shapes, example being thinner, muscular, or hairy.
You should try your best to preserve breed criteria while still creating a distinct character. This can be achieved by basing your design on your idea of their general character: Do they slouch? Are they fat/thin/athletic? Are they young/old? Would they be short/tall/? Stout or lithe? The combinations are limitless, and provide far more freedom for creativity than trying to warp your character into a breed that it doesn't belong to.
IMPORTANT: Hybrid breeds do not exist as a trait
This means that you can't make a "half-royal" hybrid and neither will a thin Standard be considered as such. While there is interbreeding between the breeds, it should only added to biography and lore for roleplaying and character building purposes rather than for aesthetic look, as this would otherwise become a free-allowance easily abused. If your design fits the criteria of a royal breed you will be required to either buy an uncommon trait or to edit the design.

There are several rules to the Royal and Standard breeds that must be followed:
- Standard caeli must not have a gap between the front legs that is more than 1 leg widths apart (<1).
The gap must be minimal where possible. - Royal caeli must have a gap between the front legs that is at least 1 leg width to <2.5 leg widths apart.
The gap must be pronounced. - Royal caeli have longer bodies but have a maximum overall length depending on the design, pending approval from the species owner.
